Fluoplus® Fluoroplastics: High-Performance Fluoromaterials Engineered for the Rigors of Chemical Processing

In chemical manufacturing, the conveyance of highly corrosive media, the safety and sealing integrity of high-temperature and high-pressure reactors, and the assurance of purity during the separation and purification of complex mixtures impose exacting demands on the chemical inertness and thermal stability of equipment materials. Fluoplus® ultra-high-temperature-resistant fluororesins, fluoroplastic sheets, and fluoroplastic films are widely utilized across sectors such as chlor-alkali, fine chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and new energy materials; they serve as core strategic materials for effectively resolving issues related to leaks, spills, and product cross-contamination.

Fluoplus® Ultra-High-Temperature Fluoroplastic:

Fluoplus® ultra-high-temperature fluoroplastics can be melt-processed using standard fluoroplastic processing equipment at normal operating speeds, while simultaneously exhibiting the physical, electrical, and chemical resistance properties characteristic of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

It is applicable for use in high-temperature cables for oil and gas extraction, oil well logging cables, submersible oil pump cables, high-temperature heat-tracing cables, and high-temperature oxygen sensors. This product is a novel perfluoroplastic designed to meet the rigorous material requirements of harsh, high-temperature environments, while offering superior electrical properties and chemical resistance.

Product Features
  • Outstanding high-temperature resistance; continuous maximum service temperature reaches up to 300°C.
  • Excellent low-temperature resistance; maintains good toughness even at extremely low temperatures.
  • Superior flame retardancy, with a Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of 95% and a UL94-V0 flame rating.
  • Low friction.
  • Excellent chemical resistance; chemically inert to virtually all industrial chemicals and solvents.
  • Can be processed using standard high-temperature fluoropolymer processing equipment.
  • Low surface energy, offering excellent non-stick properties.

Fluoplus® Fluoroplastic Sheets:

Fluoplus® fluoroplastic sheets—as well as their glass-fiber-reinforced composite counterparts—exhibit excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures, along with superior chemical resistance. They are easy to weld, feature a high-quality surface finish, and are suitable for use as liners in chemical vessels, pipelines, and other corrosion-protection applications.

Product Features
  • Outstanding high-temperature resistance; PFA sheets, in particular, can withstand continuous use temperatures of up to 260°C.
  • Excellent low-temperature resistance, maintaining superior toughness even at extremely low temperatures.
  • Exceptional flame retardancy, rated at UL94-V0.
  • Excellent low-friction and scratch-resistance properties.
  • Superior chemical resistance, exhibiting chemical inertness toward virtually all industrial chemicals and solvents.
  • Easy to weld and process.
  • Low surface energy, providing excellent non-stick properties.

Fluoplus® Fluoroplastic Films:

Fluoplus® fluoroplastic films and their composite materials feature excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures, superior chemical resistance, low extractables, and a high-quality surface finish. They are easy to weld and are suitable for use as liners in small-scale chemical vessels, pipelines, and other corrosion-protection applications.

Product Features
  • Extremely wide operating temperature range, capable of functioning between -200°C and 150°C.
  • Excellent low-temperature resistance, maintaining superior toughness even at extremely low temperatures.
  • Excellent flame retardancy, rated at UL94-V0.
  • Excellent low-friction and scratch-resistance properties.
  • Excellent chemical resistance; chemically inert to virtually all industrial chemicals and solvents.
