Fluoplus® PPSU Film
Fluoplus® PPSU film is an unoriented, unfilled pure resin film manufactured from PPSU resin by melt extrusion casting, it fully retains the material’s exceptional toughness, outstanding hydrolysis resistance, and chemical stability. The film can withstand over 1,000 repeated steam sterilization cycles without significant degradation in performance. It supports secondary processing methods such as thermoforming, ultrasonic welding, and laser cutting.

Product Description
Fluoplus® PPSU film is an unoriented, unfilled pure resin film manufactured from PPSU resin by melt extrusion casting, it fully retains the material’s exceptional toughness, outstanding hydrolysis resistance, and chemical stability. The film can withstand over 1,000 repeated steam sterilization cycles without significant degradation in performance. It supports secondary processing methods such as thermoforming, ultrasonic welding, and laser cutting.
- Chemical Resistance: Exhibits outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking and can withstand a wide range of inorganic acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and hydrocarbon oils; its chemical resistance surpasses that of traditional polysulfone (PSU) and polyetherimide (PEI).
- Thermal Stability: Features a glass transition temperature (Tg) of approximately 220–225°C, a heat deflection temperature (HDT) reaching up to 207°C (at 1.8 MPa), and a continuous service temperature of 180°C (with certain grades reaching 200°C), it can withstand short-term temperatures as high as 260°C.
- Dielectric Properties: Extremely stable, featuring high dielectric strength (reaching 190 kV/mm at a thickness of 0.025 mm) and a typical volume resistivity exceeding 10¹⁴ Ω·cm, it also exhibits low dielectric constant and dielectric loss—at 1 kHz, the dielectric constant is approximately 3.45 with a dissipation factor of about 0.0009, while at 1 MHz, the dissipation factor is approximately 0.005.
- Long-term Durability: Possesses excellent long-term performance capabilities, capable of withstanding repeated steam sterilization as well as exposure to most inorganic acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and hydrocarbon oils, its resistance to alkalis and hydrolysis is superior to that of PSU.
