Fluoplus® FTPE Film
Fluoplus® FTPE film (or THV film) is a high-performance fluoropolymer film manufactured from THV fluoro resin (a copolymer synthesized from tetrafluoroethylene (TFE), hexafluoropropylene (HFP), and vinylidene fluoride (VDF)) by melt extrusion. It owns features of excellent chemical stability, favorable optical properties, flexibility, superior weather resistance, non-flammability, non-stick characteristics, and outstanding low-temperature processing capabilities.

Product Description
Fluoplus® FTPE film (or THV film) is a high-performance fluoropolymer film manufactured from THV fluoro resin (a copolymer synthesized from tetrafluoroethylene (TFE), hexafluoropropylene (HFP), and vinylidene fluoride (VDF)) by melt extrusion. It owns features of excellent chemical stability, favorable optical properties, flexibility, superior weather resistance, non-flammability, non-stick characteristics, and outstanding low-temperature processing capabilities. It could be laminated or compounded with various types of fiber fabrics, widely used across sectors such as electronics, medical devices, photovoltaics, and aerospace for applications ranging from the fabrication of insulation layers and medical device packaging to the production of equipment components and specialized protective clothing.
- Exceptional flexibility.
- Extremely high optical transmittance and clarity, with a visible light transmittance of 95% and excellent optical stability.
- Superior aging-resistance, it remains highly inert to UV radiation, and prolonged outdoor exposure does not compromise the film’s air permeability.
- Excellent chemical resistance and barrier properties, it can be self-bonded or bonded to other substrates (suitable for use in multi-layer structures).
- Outstanding characteristics including low-temperature processability, low flammability, and melt-processability; compatible with olefin plastics and hydrocarbon elastomers for co-processing. It exhibits rubber-like flexibility at room temperature and maintains excellent ductility even in low-temperature environments.
- Suitable for long-term use at temperatures up to 80°C without susceptibility to issues such as deformation or decomposition.
