Fluoplus® PPS film is an unoriented, highly uniform specialty engineering plastic film manufactured from PPS resin by precision melt-extrusion casting process, it contains no added plasticizers, flame retardants, or fillers. The film exhibits exceptional thermal stability, inherent flame retardancy, and excellent chemical resistance, and supports a wide range of processing methods, including high-temperature forming, welding, and lamination.

Product Description

Fluoplus® PPS film is an unoriented, highly uniform specialty engineering plastic film manufactured from PPS resin by precision melt-extrusion casting process, it contains no added plasticizers, flame retardants, or fillers. The film exhibits exceptional thermal stability, inherent flame retardancy, and excellent chemical resistance, and supports a wide range of processing methods, including high-temperature forming, welding, and lamination.

  • Temperature Resistance: Long-term operation in environments ranging from -20°C to 150°C, with short-term tolerance for high temperatures up to 260°C.
  • Inherent Flame Retardancy: Features an oxygen index of 44%–46%, a thickness of just 0.15 mm is sufficient to meet the UL94 V-0 flame retardancy standard, ensuring no dripping and a halogen-free composition.
  • Stable Dielectric Properties: The dielectric constant remains stable between 3.0 and 3.12 within the temperature range of -20°C to 150°C and the frequency range of 1 Hz to 1 GHz.
  • Stable Electrical Insulation: The dielectric constant remains stable between 3.1 and 3.3 across a wide temperature range of -50°C to 200°C and a wide frequency range of 1 Hz to 1 MHz, making it an ideal insulating material for high-temperature and high-frequency environments.
  • Excellent Chemical Resistance: At room temperature, it withstands the vast majority of acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and greases. Below 150°C, it remains resistant to non-oxidizing acids, bases, and salt solutions.
