Product Description
Fluoplus® ETFE tubing is manufactured from ETFE resin through melt extrusion process. ETFE material exhibits features of excellent chemical stability and resistance to corrosion by acids and alkalis, and it withstands most other chemical agents, consequently, it is widely used in various applications requiring resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Also it features high lubricity, non-stick properties, electrical insulation capabilities, and excellent resistance to aging, as well as superior thermal stability (capable of sustained operation within a temperature range of -80°C to 220°C).
Product Features
- ETFE exhibits exceptional chemical resistance, remaining virtually inert to almost all chemical substances. Common acids and bases cause virtually no corrosion to the material, only a few substances—such as molten alkali metals and fluorine gas—have a corrosive effect on it.
- Excellent non-stick and self-lubricating properties.
- Outstanding impact resistance and mechanical strength.
- Low moisture absorption, with a saturated water absorption rate of <0.03%.
- No added auxiliaries contained, ensuring high purity.
- Superior dielectric strength and an extremely low dielectric constant.
- Excellent resistance to stress cracking and flexural fatigue.
- Exceptional weather resistance, maintaining its inertness even under prolonged outdoor exposure.
- Outstanding flame retardancy, rated at UL94-V0.
