Fluoplus® ETFE Film

Fluoplus^® ETFE film is manufactured from ETFE resins by a melt extrusion casting process. The Film is smooth, unstretched, and heat-sealable. Final products can be fabricated using various molding techniques, such as high-temperature thermoforming, vacuum forming, welding, or by laminating the film with different materials. It is widely utilized in fields such as lightweight and flexible photovoltaic panels, medical stopper laminates, semiconductor packaging, tensile membrane structures, and aerospace composite molding.

• Excellent chemical resistance; provides superior barrier properties against liquids, gases, water vapor, and organic vapors.
• Capable of long-term use within a temperature range of -100°C to 150°C.
• Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of 30%; flame retardancy rating of UL94 V-0.
• High dielectric strength; for a 0.025mm-thick film, the dielectric strength exceeds 160 kV/mm.
• Extremely low surface energy and coefficient of friction, offering excellent non-stick and self-cleaning properties.
• Excellent impact and tear resistance.
• Outstanding weather resistance, with an outdoor service life exceeding 20 years.
• Exhibits excellent light transmission properties across the UV and visible light spectra (excluding far-infrared light).
