Fluoplus® PFA film is manufactured from PFA resin by the extrusion, resulting in a smooth surface and excellent overall performance characteristics. The film can be subjected to various processing methods, including heat sealing, welding, metallization, lamination with other materials, and vacuum forming. It is widely utilized in fields such as 3D printing, high-temperature release liners, corrosion-resistant rupture discs, film welding, anti-corrosion pipe linings, electrical and electronic insulation, and new energy batteries.
- Excellent chemical resistance; provides superior barrier properties against liquids, gases, water vapor, and organic vapors.
- Capable of long-term use within a temperature range of -196°C to 260°C.
- Oxygen Index of 95%; flame retardancy rating of UL94 V-0.
- High dielectric strength, reaching up to 250 kV/mm (for 0.025 mm film).
- Low dielectric constant and dielectric loss.
- Extremely low surface energy and coefficient of friction, offering excellent non-stick and self-cleaning properties.
- Excellent impact strength and tear resistance.
- Excellent weather resistance, with an outdoor service life exceeding 20 years.
- Highly transparent to UV and visible light, with the exception of far-infrared light.
