Product Description
Fluoplus® Ultra-High Temperature Fluoroplastics are a new generation of perfluoroplastics designed for high-temperature applications, specifically up to 300°C, while simultaneously offering superior electrical and chemical resistance properties. Fluoplus® can be melt-processed using standard fluoroplastic processing equipment; moreover, it replicates the physical, electrical, and chemical properties characteristic of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It is ideally suited for use as an insulation layer in applications such as high-temperature cables, submersible oil pump cables, high-temperature heat tracing wires, and high-temperature sensor cables.
- Outstanding high-temperature resistance, with a maximum continuous service temperature reaching 300°C
- Excellent low-temperature resistance, maintaining robust toughness even at extremely low temperatures
- Superior flame retardancy, featuring a Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) of 95% and a UL94-V0 flame rating
- Extremely low coefficient of friction
- Exceptional chemical resistance; chemically inert to virtually all industrial chemicals and solvents
- Compatible with standard high-temperature fluoroplastic processing equipment
- Low surface energy, providing excellent non-stick properties
