Product Description

Fluoplus® Developing Fluoroplastics manufacturerd from modified ETFE or FEP resins through specialized formulation and process optimization. While retaining the fluororesins’ inherent excellence in chemical resistance, thermal stability (across high and low temperatures), and low coefficient of friction, these particles impart a radiopaque effect—rendering the material visible under X-ray imaging. Fluoplus® Radiopaque Particles are ideally suited for the extrusion molding of radiopaque medical catheters (such as interventional catheters and drainage tubes). Produced and packaged within a cleanroom environment, these particles boast superior whiteness and are free of black spots, thereby ensuring that subsequent extruded films or catheters exhibit smooth surfaces devoid of crystalline defects.

  • Exceptional radiopaque visibility; contrast levels can be adjusted by modifying the formulation concentration
  • Extremely low coefficient of friction and inherent self-lubricating properties
  • Excellent chemical resistance; chemically inert to virtually all industrial chemicals and solvents
  • Compatible with standard high-temperature fluoropolymer processing equipment
  • Outstanding high-temperature resistance
  • Non-leaching and fully compliant with biocompatibility requirements
Product Series
  • ETFE Developing Fluoroplastic
